OutdoorOasis operates outdooroasis.shop and sells outdoor living and garden products, including patio furniture, fire pit sets, wicker seating and shade structures. This page sets out what we collect when you visit or buy from us, why we hold it and what you can ask us to do with it. Using the site or placing an order means you accept the practices described here.
What we collect from you. When you place an order, open a support ticket or subscribe to our email list, you give us your name, delivery and billing address, email address, telephone number and the details of what you bought. Card details are typed into our payment provider at checkout and travel straight to them. Full card numbers never reach our servers and we cannot see them.
What we collect automatically. Like most stores, our site records technical information as you browse: the IP address you connect from, your browser and device type, the pages you open and the products you view. Cookies and similar tools do this work. They also keep your basket contents alive while you shop.
Why we hold it. We use your information to take payment, pick and ship your order, quote freight for oversized items, answer your questions, handle returns and warranty claims, detect fraudulent orders and meet our tax and accounting duties. If you opted in to marketing, we also send occasional product emails, and every one of them carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
Who else sees it. We do not sell personal information and we do not rent our customer list. We pass details to the companies that make the store work: our payment provider, our freight and parcel carriers, our warehouse partners, our email platform and our hosting company. Each gets only what the job requires. We also disclose information where the law compels us to, or where it is needed to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
How long we keep it. Order records stay with us for as long as tax and consumer law require, normally several years. Support messages are kept while the issue is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Marketing contacts are removed once you unsubscribe.
Keeping it safe. We use SSL encryption across the site and restrict internal access to order data. No system connected to the internet is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we take the safeguards seriously.
Your choices. Depending on the state you live in, you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it or object to certain uses. Write to the address below and we will reply within the period the law allows. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser, although parts of the basket and checkout will stop working properly if you do.
Children. This store is meant for adults. We do not knowingly gather information from anyone under 13.
